The FreeHer Campaign

The National FreeHer Campaign is a distributed organizing, deep canvassing, and issue advocacy movement to end the incarceration of women and girls and close women’s prisons and jails across the country.

Launched in 2021, the campaign mobilizes people nationwide to stop new jail and prison construction and demand investment in real public safety—rooted in care, transformation, and healing.
